about Talented TotsDanella & Rachael started The Talented-Tots Company when Rachael, recently having become a mum to identical twin girls, decided she would like to introduce the girls to a musical instrument. Having always wanted to learn the piano herself, and never having the opportunity to, she found she was quite helpless to even teach them the basics. Too young to have a teacher and with lesson prices being quite considerable, Rachael felt that if she had a basic understanding of the piano and music, she would be able to introduce them to the wonderful world of piano playing in hope that should they really enjoy it, it would then be worth the investment of paying for a teacher to help them progress further.
She searched the market for an appropriate product and found that there was nothing out there for this age group, 3-8yrs. Quite shocked that something so useful and enjoyable had not yet been created, she contacted her old school friend Danella, a confident musician, pianist and musical theatre expert, for advice. After considerable research, they accepted that there truly was no entertaining, animated and inspiring product out there to do the job. They set to work on creating their own and so, “Talented-Tots Can Play the Piano”, the first in the series, was born. The DVD was created to be an interactive product that young children and parents could enjoy together, and older children could learn from without any assistance from parents, giving them the opportunity to show-off their progress with every new achievement. Musical Clown who lives in the magical world of Piano Land, guides you through simple, colorful teaching methods which include learning the alphabet, numbers and the colours of the rainbow, on the journey towards being able to read music and play simple songs with both your right and left hands together! It is such an effective teaching DVD that whether a non-musical adult wishes to learn the basics to enable them to teach and introduce their child to music and the piano, or whether it is simply an enjoyable activity to encourage quality parent-child time in an imaginative and educational way, it won’t be long before you have a talented little tot on your hands who has been inspired by music! |
